(1) If an elephant dies due to some reason, the conservator of the concerned area will order the elephant to be cremated after conducting the necessary examination or having it done.
(2) The conservator should send his inspection report to the Chief Conservator's office promptly, detailing all the reasons for the elephant's death. Along with the report, the elephant's trunk, teeth and tusks should also be invoiced and sent.
